Biography
James Austin Scott (born December 10, 1969) is an American politician who is the U.S. representative for Georgia's 8th congressional district, serving since 2011. Scott served as a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives before being elected to the U.S. House. He is the most senior Republican currently serving in Georgia's congressional delegation.
