Biography
Cliff Stewart Bentz (born January 12, 1952) is an American politician and lawyer serving as the U.S. representative for Oregon's 2nd congressional district since 2021. He previously served in the Oregon Senate from 2018 to 2020 and in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2008 to 2018. He is a member of the Republican Party. Bentz was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2020. He was re-elected in 2022 and 2024. Since 2025, Bentz is the sole Republican in Oregon's congressional delegation and is the only man representing Oregon in the U.S. House of Representatives.
