CITIZEN COMMENT This section allows members of the public to address the Commission regarding any item(s) other than a public hearing item, on the agenda for the Commission’s consideration. Each person shall sign up in advance and may speak only one time. Such address shall be limited to four (4) minutes. The Commission may allow a one (1) minute extension by majority vote. COMMITTEE ITEMS 1. Consider final recommendation for amendments related to City Council term and term limits. 2. Consider final recommendation for amendments related to City Council vacancies. 3. Discuss and consider amendments related to initiative and referendum in connection with State law. 4. Discuss and consider amendments related to recall policies and procedures. 5. Discussion regarding other amendments to be considered. ADJOURNMENT The next scheduled meeting of the Charter Review Committee is March 18, 2026 at 6:00 pm. This meeting is being conducted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act [Texas Gov’t Code, Chapter 551]. Notices for City of Killeen meetings do not distinguish between matters to be discussed in open or closed session. The Charter Review Committee may convene a closed session to discuss any matter listed on the agenda, without prior or further notice, if the matter is one that the Open Meetings Act allows to be discussed in a closed session. This meeting is being conducted in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The facility is wheelchair accessible and handicap parking is available.
